Don’t Play With Things That Go Boom
I was on my way. Loaded into a Huey helicopter, I was flown to a nearby Fire Support Base called Hawk Hill.
I thought this was going to be my new home but I was wrong.
Live life well.
In our society today we have been taught to take care of Number One.
Number One being … well, ourselves.
No one should be allowed to say someone else is better than me … especially if they are better than me, because that would make me feel bad.
No one should be allowed to say that I’m not good enough just because … I’m not good enough.
That would also make me feel bad.
No one should be allowed to stop following me on social media because … that really makes me feel bad.
Why?
Because I am Number One.
Every year I try to attend the Consumer Electronics Show and see what new products and services are coming our way. Some of those innovations make it into the stories that I write and some of them I share through this newsletter.
This year there were “only” about 110,000 people who attended the show — they usually get a whole lot more — but there were a lot of things to see.
Rather than just list a bunch of stuff, I’d like to share with you a couple of the items that impressed me.
I really do know how to swim.
I mean I can go from one end of the pool to the other without touching the bottom, and I don’t need any floaties to help me.
