Good stuff, as always, Clint. I still remember firing a rifle when I was in ROTC in college. I think it was an M-16, and it packed quite a kick. I was fortunate to never use one in real life, because a health issue kept me out of the Vietnam war, something for which I am eternally grateful to God.
It’s amazing how those “little things” — I grant you a health issue isn’t a little thing — but “things” happen in our lives that have a major impact on our futures. Seeing God’s hand in those things is so important. God is in control and we can rest in Him and be grateful for what He has done. I pray you have a great day!
Clint, I always enjoy your story telling of your days in basic training. I can’t wait for the next episode.
