Question for you: My friend wrote a book that she would like to record as an audio book. What software or digital program would you recommend for her?

I use Adobe Audition but it’s a bit pricey (It’s part of the Creative Cloud suite.) A free software program which I have used in the past and is excellent is Audacity. Their website is https://www.audacityteam.org/
